Mar 25, 2020     Horizontal Stabilzer - (36.5 hours)       Category: Empennage
Empennage is divided into 3 build sections per the kit. First is the stabilizer, next elevator, finally the rudder. I'm am missing a central part on the elevator section so I can do the stabilizer then the rudder.

Stabilizer:

Pull plastic off parts. counter-sink drill certain holes that will line up with the dimpled skin. De-burr edges and rivet holes. Cleco and test fit parts.

Parts fit pretty well. The nose ribs required delicate work to get the rivets set without inadvertently bending the part. Camera probe was used to check all the setting of the rivets. Electric Trim motor wiring was positioned.

Skins lined up and square was checked.
